Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Cakebar, we are dedicated to ensuring your experience with us is delightful. While we uphold the policy of final sales, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.

Here are the measures we take to address such situations:

Refunds
  • Cake not in good condition: If your cake arrive in less than perfect condition (e.g., melted, broken, defective), please contact us within 2 hours of receiving them. Include a clear picture or video illustrating the issue and email it to sgcakebar@gmail.com or WhatsApp it to +65 9380 4026.
    We will investigate your case and provide a response within 24 hours. Regardless of the reason, we sincerely apologize for any unpleasant experience.
  • Item contains foreign object: If you encounter foreign objects (e.g., hair, mold) while consuming your item, please share a clear picture of the foreign object along with your order number. Cease consumption while awaiting our investigation and response. We will look into your case and provide a response within 24 hours.

  • Received the wrong items: If you happen to receive the wrong items in your order (e.g., wrong item, wrong quantity), please let us know within 2 hours. Share a clear picture of the incorrect items along with your order number. To be eligible for a refund or replacement, the items should remain unconsumed and in the condition in which they were received. 
    We will respond promptly and discuss with you whether a refund or replacement is the preferred resolution.
For Frozen Kori Series

Cakebar's Kori series items: such as Kori Lemon and Kori Strawberry, must be promptly stored in the freezer upon receipt. To preserve the condition of Kori products, all whole-size Kori series items come with a one time use Aluminium Insulation Cooler Bag for extended durability during transportation.

Kori items can only withstand room temperature for 30 minutes. We strongly advise customers to store them in the freezer immediately upon receipt. If you find the filling slightly softened upon opening, do not worry. Simply return it to the freezer for at least 1 hour before consumption.

Ensure the Kori is consumed when firm for the best texture, our Kori treats are best enjoyed frozen, offering a texture similar to ice cream.

A friendly reminder to all buyers: please ensure that there is someone available to sign for the delivery. We cannot be held responsible or issue refunds for Kori left at room temperature without a signature upon delivery.

Cancellations
No CancellationsOnce an order is confirmed, we are unable to process cancellations. If you find yourself in a situation where cancellation is necessary, please reach out to us via email or WhatsApp +65 9380 4026. We will carefully review your circumstances and determine the best course of action.

Refund Process
We will inform you upon receiving and reviewing your refund request. Subsequently, we will notify you of the approval or denial of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed automatically through your original payment method. Keep in mind that the time required for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund may vary.

Order Amendment
If you wish to make any amendments to your order, such as changing the delivery date or address, please notify us via whatsapp +65 9380 4026 or email at least 72 hours before the scheduled delivery.

Failure to do so may result in a failed delivery, and in such cases, we hold no responsibility for the freshness of the cake due to prolonged transportation or any decision to abolish the shipment without replacement.

If you require a redelivery, we will make alternative arrangements and charge an additional delivery fee.

Collection
In the event that you do not collect your orders by the end of the selected working day, the products will be disposed and no refund will be given.
